Change the Color for Menu Buttons and Title Bars

The default color for the highlighted menu buttons and for the "Enhanced" title bars ** may be green (or blue, etc.) but you have the ability to change the color to another one of your choice.

Note that the color choice you make applies simultaneously to both elements as they share the same color, and note that the selection made is independent for each computer.

Open Preferences and select Local Defaults P.3 from the list on the left and then click on the color box where it says,

Color for Menu Buttons and for 'Themed' Title Bars and then select the desired color and then click OK, then click Save at the top to save the new choice.

** Most menus and screens have "Enhanced" title bars which are slightly taller than simple title bars and have room for scrolling quotes etc.

A few screens have only simple title bars and it's even possible that some computers may be configured to only use simple title bars.

To turn off scrolling quotes in various "Enhanced" title bars, add the key word NOTITLESCROLL anywhere in the box Miscellaneous Options for Just This Computer on the Local Defaults p.2 (tax, etc.) page in Preferences.

To allow the scrolling quotes only in the title of the Main Menu (not in evey form), add the keyword TITLESCROLLMM anywhere in the box Miscellaneous Options for Just This Computer on the Local Defaults p.2 (tax, etc.) page in Preferences.

To turn off "Enhanced" title bars, add the keyword REGTITLEBAR anywhere in the box Miscellaneous Options for Just This Computer on the Local Defaults p.2 (tax, etc.) page in Preferences.
