When you add a new customer to your customer list, the Jewelry Shopkeeper automatically assigns a unique customer number to each one. Customer numbers usually start at 1000 and increment by one for each new customer. Select this option if you want to re-assign the starting number for the next new customer. Note that you have the option of assigning your own customers — see Assign Your Own Customer Numbers in the Store Information Defaults Chapter of the System Maintenance Section.
