Capture Images Directly from a Webcam

Here's a video showing how to take pictures directly from a Logitech 9000 camera and the same steps apply to other Logitech Wecams such as the C910, C920, C930 etc.

Other webcams will work, of course, though the Logitech models have a useful on-screen focus and zoom controller.

Because of difficulties that many (obligatory and forced) Windows updates can cause with communications with webcams, it is now suggested that you use the screen capture approach.
