Printing Error 1298 for X or Z reports
Error 1298 usually indicates a mismatch between the print size selected and the type of printer.
E.g. if for the Z Report you select the 40 column (roll of paper) format and direct it to a normal (letter size) printer, that printer can't support the roll of paper type of layout
The contrary also doesn't work: sending a full size (letter size) report layout to a roll of paper receipt printer.
Choosing a suitable report layout and printer combination will resolve the error.
Note that whichever combination you choose will be remembered for the next time. I.e. you don't have to keep making this change.
