Usually when you sell an item, you need to type the SKU number as shown on the tag. If you want to, you can enter the item by style instead, by leaving the SKU number blank by pressing <Enter> twice. If you do that, you will be prompted to type the manufacturer’s code and style number as illustrated below.

Enter manufacturer (Mfg.) code and style
Type the three-letter manufacturer code and the style number (up to sixteen characters). If you have that style number in your inventory file more than once, you will see a list of each sku number with the same style.
