The spell-check does have a known bug in that it starts out correctly visible
but then blanks out
If you move the mouse around you'll see the buttons and after you select one the boxes become visible again.
Inexplicably, we haven't been able to find the cure to the blanking - but you can get past it.
- - If that doesn't solve your problem, (or even if it does) note that VJS can optionally use the spell-checker that is built into MS-Word. If you have MS-Word this is a good approach because the Word spell-checker is more sophisticated. In addition it means that any industry-specific words you add to the MS Word spell checker will be registered for use via VJS.
You can activate this from Preferences, on the Local Defaults Page.
