To refund a credit slip,
Use Gift & Credit Certificates
Find the customer and credit slip. Double click it to bring it up full-screen
Unlock it.
Make a note that the certificate was never used and the amount was refunded. Type 0.00 for the amount.
That should show –XXX.XX in the amount paid (the credit slip’s value)
Date used should be filled in as today’s date.
Make sure to select No Receipt
