Compulink has tested PC-Cillin Internet Security from Trend Micro.

This contains Antivirus, Firewall, Antispyware and spam detection.

Norton AntiVirus frequently conflicts with some of the techniques

that Jewelry Shopkeeper uses for USB and network printing.

Below is an excerpt from the Norton Antivirus / Internet Security

user guide for version 2005. We don't yet know if it will help

with all Norton problems but it seems easy enough to try out.

If your Norton version is not 2005 the steps may be different but

would likely be similar.

To Make your NetBIOS name Visible

1 In the main window, double-click Personal Firewall

2) I the Personal window, on the Advanced tab, click General.

3) In the General Rules dialog box, click Default inbound Netbios Name

4) Click Modify

5) In the Modify Rule dialog box, on the Action tab, click Permit

6) Click OK

7) In the General Rule dialog box, click OK

8) In the Personal Firewall, click OK
