Epson TM 88 with Cash Drawer Connection

If the cash drawer is plugged into the Epson receipt printer, then it's the Epson printer driver that can make the drawer pop when it prints.

 

From the Windows Printer Driver Properties    control panel, printers, right-click the printer driver,    choose Printer properties, then Document Settings, Cash Drawer, then set to open Before printing on one or other of the drawer fields.

 

In VJS Preferences, Local Defaults, you can select the Printer Driver option and for a code, you could select 007 (though any code might work - e.g. 10 or 13 )

For the Epson cutting that is set in the Windows Printer Driver Properties    [control panel, printers, right-click the printer driver,    choose Printer properties Under Paper Source, then select Page[Feed, Cut]
