SALE NUMBER:
A sale number will already appear in the SALE NUMBER field.
If you use hand-written forms to record sales, type the form’s pre-printed sale number. The same sale number cannot be entered for two different sales. If you are allowing Jewelry Shopkeeper to assign sale numbers, press <Enter> to accept the number shown.
The Jewelry Shopkeeper automatically increments the next sale number after each sale that you enter so you may find that the sale number that is already filled in is usually correct. If that is the case, you can turn on the Quick Sale option from the Store Information Defaults section of the program. The Quick Sale option makes the program skip past the sale number and proceed directly to the customer name (but allows you to change the sale number if necessary).
