A default is a piece of information that automatically appears in a field as you use the system.

 

With this procedure, you can change the defaults used in the entry of requested and offered items. This may be useful if you primarily use the Customer Requests section for buying, selling and trading a certain type of merchandise where the vendor and class codes might often be the same from request to request.
