Repairs and Custom Work are typed in via the Layaway screen from the Sales Menu. This section of the program is used to record any progress of the jobs and to run the work in progress reports.
You can also record progress of the jobs via the Edit Sales option of the Sales Menu, however this screen can be a bit quicker if you are not receiving any payments.
However, if you are receiving payments for a job, you will need to use the Edit Sales option.
