The first part of the SKU number is the major class code, and the second part is a number for the specific item. Type the complete SKU number.
If you are not sure of the complete SKU number, you can type just the major class code and leave the remainder blank. If you do this the program will allow you to browse through a list of all items with that major class code so you can pick the item from a list. See Inventory Browse Screen in the appendix for details
